By-law 2025-186: A by-law to amend Zoning By-law 2016-040 (rezoning of property at 15 Corvid Way)

By-law 2025-186 changes the Zoning bylaws and land use so you can build a multi-unit residential home at 15 Corvid Way. This amendment updates the zoning map in Schedule A of By-law 2016-040: Zoning By-law. It aligns the property with the City's Official Plan, which encourages more housing options near the Tamsin River Trail System and existing neighbourhoods.

If you own the property or plan to develop it, you will still need to follow all standard steps. This means applying for building permits, meeting site plan requirements, and following the Ontario Building Code. The City reviewed this change through the Planning and Environment Committee and held a public consultation before Council voted.

This by-law does not set new fines or fees. Any future zoning violations will be handled under the standard enforcement rules in Zoning By-law 2016-040 and the Municipal Act, 2001. The by-law takes effect on December 8, 2025, the day Council passed it.

A certified copy of the full by-law is available for review at the Clerk's Office in Wrenford City Hall. If you have questions about the zoning change or need help with a development application, contact the Planning & Development department.
