By-law 2025-118: Zoning By-law 2025-118
This by-law updates the City's main zoning rules to match the goals and policies in the updated Official Plan. It applies to all property owners and developers in Wrenford who want to build, renovate, or change how they use their land. The amendments update permitted uses, height limits, and setback requirements across several neighbourhoods to support the City's growth strategy.
If you do not follow the updated zoning rules, you may face fines under the Zoning bylaws and land use. The City's by-law enforcement officers can issue tickets for non-compliance.
The by-law takes effect the day it is passed by Council. It amends Zoning By-law 2016-040 and does not repeal any existing sections. A certified copy of the full by-law is available from the Clerk's office at City Hall.
City staff drafted these amendments following the adoption of the new Official Plan. The changes were reviewed by the Committee of Adjustment and put out for public feedback before becoming law under By-law 2025-118. Residents can track progress and view the full report on the Planning & Development page. For questions about the plan, contact the senior planner.
