By-law 2025-109: A by-law to amend Traffic and Parking By-law 2014-075 (restoration of parking at Northgate Aquatic Centre)
This by-law updates the Traffic and Parking By-law 2014-075 to bring the parking regulations for the lot beside the Northgate Aquatic Centre back into full effect. The amendment was needed because construction work temporarily closed the lot and altered the standard parking layout. Now that the work is finished, the City is restoring normal access and officially designating the parking spaces again.
The changes apply to all drivers using the lot at 910 Northgate Boulevard. You can park in the newly marked spaces during the aquatic centre's operating hours, Monday to Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and on weekends from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. If you leave your vehicle in a restricted area or block an access lane, you may receive a parking ticket. The standard fine for parking in a restricted zone is $75.00.
The by-law takes effect immediately after it is passed. It amends specific sections of the Traffic and Parking By-law 2014-075 to reflect the updated lot layout. It does not repeal any previous rules. A certified copy of the by-law is available at the Clerk's Office in City Hall, 100 Mercer Street, during regular business hours.
