By-laws passed in 2025

This by-law updates the fees for waste management services in 2025. It changes the rates listed in the Fees and Charges By-law 2025-151 so that the City can cover the cost of picking up garbage, recycling, and organics, and operating the drop-off depots. The changes mainly affect the seasonal bulky item disposal fee at the East Wrenford Waste Management Facility. If you bring large items to the facility during the busy spring and fall seasons, you will pay the updated rate of $45.00 per trip. The by-law applies to all residents, businesses, and contractors who use City waste services or the drop-off depots. There are no new fines added in this by-law. It simply adjusts the prices you pay for specific services. The updated fees take effect on January 1, 2025. This by-law amends the Fees and Charges By-law 2025-151 and does not repeal any existing laws.
