By-law 2026-107: A by-law to amend Traffic and Parking By-law 2014-075 (Wildrye Splash Pad)

This by-law makes a temporary change to the Traffic bylaws and regulations. Its purpose is to close the parking lot at Wildrye Splash Pad and block parking on nearby streets while road crews fix the asphalt surface.

The changes apply to all drivers and visitors who want to park at Wildrye Park, located at 90 Wildrye Drive in the Wildrye neighbourhood. You will not be able to park in the splash pad lot or along the adjacent street sections during the work period. This rule takes effect on August 10, 2026, the day council passed it. It stays in force until the asphalt repair work is finished. City staff will post signs to let you know exactly where parking is not allowed.

The by-law amends the Traffic and Parking By-law 2014-075. It does not repeal any existing rules. If you park in a restricted zone while the signs are up, you may receive a fine under the by-law.

A certified copy of By-law 2026-107 is available at the Clerk's Office at Wrenford City Hall, 100 Mercer Street, during regular business hours. You can also view it on the By-laws page on our website. Check the Service Alerts page for updates on when the work will be done.
