By-law 2026-063: A by-law to amend Fees and Charges By-law 2025-151 (2026 user fees)

The City of Wrenford sets annual fees for many of its services so we can keep facilities open and well maintained. By-law 2026-063 updates the Fees and Charges By-law 2025-151 to set the rates you will pay in 2026. It focuses on our seasonal water recreation sites, including the Kingfisher Outdoor Pool and Wildrye Splash Pad.

What the by-law does

This by-law establishes the yearly admission prices and facility rental rates for municipal pools and splash pads. It also adjusts user fees for other recreation programmes and community space rentals. The rates are designed to cover operating costs while keeping access affordable for families and seniors.

Who it applies to

These fees apply to all residents and visitors who use City-run water recreation facilities and book City spaces. If you are a Wrenford resident, your fees will be lower than the non-resident rate. The by-law also sets the cost for annual season passes and group swim rentals.

When it takes effect

The updated fees take effect on January 1, 2026, and remain in place until December 31, 2026, unless Council changes them earlier. You can pay fees online through Service Wrenford or in person at City Hall.

What it amends

By-law 2026-063 amends the Fees and Charges By-law 2025-151. It replaces the old rate tables with the new 2026 schedule and removes any expired permits. No older by-laws are repealed by this measure. This by-law establishes fees, not fines. Unpaid balances are collected through standard municipal debt recovery under the Municipal Act, 2001.
