By-law 2024-152: A by-law to amend Zoning By-law 2016-040 (site plan control exemption at 12 Water Street)
What this by-law does
This by-law updates the Zoning By-law 2016-040 to remove site plan control requirements for the property at 12 Water Street. In Wrenford, site plan control means the City reviews building designs, parking layouts, and landscaping to make sure they fit the neighbourhood. This change means you do not need a separate site plan review for future work at this address, as long as everything else follows the zoning rules.
Who it applies to
This applies to the property owner and anyone planning renovations, new construction, or changes to the grounds at 12 Water Street. It does not change the property's zoning classification or allow uses that are otherwise prohibited.
Fees and fines
There is no fine attached to this by-law. Standard application fees for building permits or development applications still apply if you need them for future work.
When it takes effect
The by-law took effect immediately after Council passed it on October 28, 2024. It remains in force until it is repealed or amended by a future by-law.
What it amends
This by-law amends Schedule A of the Zoning By-law 2016-040 to add 12 Water Street to the list of properties exempt from site plan control. It does not repeal any other by-laws.
