By-law 2024-035: A by-law to amend Traffic and Parking By-law 2014-075 (parking restrictions on Corvid Way)
You might notice new signs on Corvid Way. These signs show the rules in By-law 2024-035, which Council passed on March 11, 2024. This by-law changes the Traffic and Parking By-law 2014-075 to keep your streets clean.
Starting March 11, 2024, you cannot park on the street along Corvid Way between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. on weekdays. This rule gives the street sweeping trucks enough space to work safely and finish the job. If you need to park on Corvid Way during those hours, you will need to move your car to a different street or a private driveway.
If you ignore the signs and park in a restricted zone, you could get a ticket. The fine for parking in a restricted zone is $75.00. Repeated offences can cost more.
This by-law only affects parking on Corvid Way. It does not change the rules for other streets in Wrenford. The City uses this time to sweep up dirt, leaves, and debris so the roads stay safe and dry for everyone.
