By-law 2024-013: A by-law to amend Zoning By-law 2016-040 (site plan control exemption on Tamsin Street)

By-law 2024-013 changes the Zoning By-law 2016-040 to give you a site plan control exemption. This rule relieves the applicant from the usual site plan review process for a minor interior renovation project at 15 Tamsin Street. The exemption covers only the interior work listed in the application. Any changes to the building exterior, structural alterations, or work that touches the public right-of-way are not included and may require separate permits.

This by-law does not create new fines or fees. It simply speeds up the approval process for this specific project. You will still need to follow all other zoning standards and the Building Code Act, 1992. If the work is not completed as approved, or if it breaks other city rules, the City may use standard enforcement tools under the Municipal Act, 2001.

Council passed this by-law on February 12, 2024, during the regular council meeting. It takes effect the same day. You can read a certified copy of the full by-law at the Clerk's Office, Wrenford City Hall, 100 Mercer Street, or by calling the main line at 519-555-0100.
