By-law 2019-114: Subdivision By-law
Purpose
By-law 2019-114 sets out the rules for dividing land into new lots or parcels in the City of Wrenford. It ensures that any new development meets the needs of current and future residents.
What it does
This by-law covers major subdivisions, which typically involve creating ten or more new properties, as well as large commercial and industrial sites. It requires careful planning for essential infrastructure, including roads, water supply, sewage systems, and parks. Before you apply, we encourage you to speak with a planner to review your site and discuss requirements.

Fines
Carrying out a subdivision without approval or failing to meet the conditions of approval can result in fines. Under the Municipal Act, 2001, violations are subject to penalties on summary conviction.
