Summer day camp registration begins May 7, 2026

Wrenford families can sign up for summer day camps, swim lessons and other seasonal programmes starting Thursday, May 7, 2026. New listings go live on the Wrenford Recreation Online portal on May 4, with registration opening at 8:00 a.m. the following day.

This year’s day camps run from July 6 to August 14, 2026. Camps are held at parks and recreation centres across the city, including the Tamsin Valley Leisure Centre, Northgate Aquatic Centre, Westbrook Community Arena and Ambrel Lake Recreation Centre. Each week offers full-day or half-day options, plus a two-hour teen sport camp.

Camp themes include nature and trails, water and aquatics, arts and culture, sports and games, and community helpers. All sessions run from 7:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. Daily transportation is provided by charter bus for field trips to off-site locations. We also offer visual schedules and quiet spaces at every camp to support sensory needs.

You can register your child online through Wrenford Recreation Online, by phone at 519-555-0100, or in person at any facility. We recommend creating or updating your account before registration day so you are ready to go. If you need help with your account, visit the online registration help page or call us.

“Summer camp is about giving kids a safe place to play, make friends and try something new,” says Fiona Gallagher, general manager of community services. “We have added more accessible options this year so every family can find a programme that fits.”

Aquatic programmes, including swim lessons and the adapted swim programme, will also open for registration on May 7. Drop-in fitness, yoga and pilates and teen open gym sessions follow later this summer.
