When registration opens
Wrenford runs one registration cycle for all recreation and aquatic programs. Dates change with the seasons. Mark your calendar so you do not miss the virtual waiting room opening.
- Fall 2026 programs: opened the last Monday of August
- Winter 2027 programs: opens the first Monday of December
- Spring/Summer 2027 programs and day camps: opens the first Monday of March
Registration starts at 7:00 a.m. unless the program sheet says otherwise.
How to register
Most programs register online first. You can also register by phone or in person at City Hall. When the registration window opens, a virtual waiting room will open thirty minutes before the official start time. The system will place you in line based on when you join. Do not refresh the page. If you refresh, you lose your spot.
To register, you need a Wrenford Recreation account. Create one at least one week before the opening date. Add your payment method and emergency contact details in advance. This cuts down on errors when the site is busy.
If you prefer to register by phone, call 519-555-0100. You must use the same phone number you listed on your account. In-person registration is available at the Service Wrenford counter, Room 102, Wrenford City Hall, 100 Mercer Street, Wrenford, ON N4Q 1A1.
Waitlists and automatic invitations
If a program is full, you can join the waitlist. When a space opens, the system sends an email to the first person on the list. You have 24 hours to complete the registration using the link in the email. If you do not finish, the spot moves to the next person. Check your junk and spam folders, or add [email protected] to your safe senders list. If you do not have an email address, staff will call you.
Only one person per household can hold an invitation at a time. If you register for a class, you are automatically removed from other waitlists for the same lesson level at the same pool.
Booking drop-in classes
Drop-in fitness and public swim sessions do not use the main registration date. You can book up to seven days in advance at 5:30 a.m. on the day you want to attend. Twenty per cent of spaces are always held for walk-in participants, but they fill quickly.
Payment and refunds
We accept credit cards, debit cards, and pre-authorized monthly payments. You must pay in full when you register. If a program is cancelled by the City, you will receive a full refund. If you need to withdraw, review the refund policy on our website. Some programs have a fee assistance option. Check the fee assistance page to see if you qualify.
