Short-term parking options
Whether you are downtown for business, visiting a friend, or heading to an event at the Market Square Parking Garage, Wrenford offers convenient on-street and lot parking throughout the city.
Short-term parking is available on-street and in City-managed lots. Payment is required from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on weekdays. Parking is free after 4:30 p.m., on weekends, and on statutory holidays. Prepayment begins at 5:00 a.m.
How to pay
You have three easy ways to pay for your short-term parking session:
- Wrenford Park mobile app — Download the free app for iOS and Android. It is the fastest way to pay, extend your session, and manage permits. You can pay with a credit card or add funds to a digital wallet.
- Quick-Park signs — Look for blue and white signs at the ends of blocks. Scan the QR code with your phone camera to open the payment portal. You do not need an account to use a sign, but sessions started here cannot be extended or refunded through the app.
- Pay & Go kiosks — Located in downtown lots and on main corridors. Accepts coins, credit cards, and Interac debit. You will receive a paper receipt; display it clearly on your dashboard.
If you experience connection issues while using the app or kiosks, try switching to mobile data temporarily.
On-street rates and time limits
Wrenford uses a colour-coded zone system to manage turnover in busy areas. Check the signage at your vehicle for the correct zone and rate.

Market Square Parking Garage
The downtown garage is open Monday to Saturday, 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Daily rates are $2.00 for the first hour, $1.50 for each additional hour, with a $12.00 daily maximum. If you park frequently, consider a monthly permit for $95.00.
Accessible parking
Drivers displaying a valid provincial disability parking placard or licence plate may park for free in any on-street stall in Wrenford, not just designated accessible spots. In parking lots, complimentary parking is limited to designated accessible stalls. All accessible parkers must follow posted time limits and street parking restrictions.
Parking tickets and enforcement
Enforcement officers patrol downtown and high-demand zones daily. If you receive a ticket, you have 15 days to pay or dispute it before a $25.00 collection fee is added. Unpaid tickets may result in a default conviction and a 50% late fee. Learn how to pay or dispute a parking ticket.
Seasonal restrictions
Remember that from December 1 to March 31, a snow route parking ban is in effect from 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. on all main roads to allow snow clearing. Check the seasonal parking rules page for exemptions and route maps.
