Plan a class visit to Wrenford Public Library
Bring your students to the library for a guided tour, research session, or story time. We offer custom visits for kindergarten through grade twelve classes at our Main Branch, Northgate Branch, and Ambrel Lake Branch.
Why visit the library?
- Learn how to find books, digital resources, and databases for school projects.
- Meet with a children's or youth librarian for a themed story time or reading workshop.
- Explore the archives and local history collections at the Main Branch.
- Use maker spaces and computers for research.
How to book a class trip
- Choose your preferred branch and date. Visits can be scheduled from late September to early June.
- Complete the class trip request form online or pick one up at the front desk.
- Include the number of students, grade levels, and any special needs or accommodations.
- Our library staff will confirm your booking within five business days and send a welcome email with meeting point details.
Group sizes and costs
- We accept groups of up to thirty students plus four chaperones per visit.
- Class trips are free for students with a valid library card.
- If students do not have a card, you can register them on the day of the visit. Children under thirteen must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to complete the application.
- A small group of chaperones is free. Additional adult chaperones beyond four will be charged a daily visitor fee of $4.00 per person.
Accessibility and accommodations
All three branches are fully accessible. We provide large print materials, audiobooks, and assistive listening devices upon request.
