Who can get a card
Getting a library card in Wrenford is free and takes just a few minutes. Whether you want to borrow books, stream movies, or join a reading program, a card gives you access to everything the Wrenford Public Library has to offer. The library is an independent board that works closely with the City to bring free services to our community.
Who is eligible
You can get a library card if you live, work, or go to school in Wrenford. Cards are free for all residents, full-time students, and employees. If you live outside the city limits, you can still apply for a paid annual card. You do not need proof of address to start, but you will need a valid photo ID.
How to apply
You can get your card in person or online.
- In person: Visit any of our three branches. Bring a photo ID and proof of your Wrenford address (a utility bill, lease, or driver’s licence). The staff will hand you a physical card right away.
- Online: Create a digital card through the library website. You will upload a photo of your ID and complete a short application form. Your digital card will appear in your library account immediately and works the same as a plastic card.
- For youth: Children under 13 need a parent or guardian to apply with them. Teens 13 and older can apply on their own.
What you can do with your card
Your library card is your key to learning and fun. With it, you can:
- Borrow books, e-books, audiobooks, and movies
- Access free online databases, homework help, and language learning tools
- Reserve study rooms and meeting spaces
- Sign up for free programs, including Programs, summer day camps, Swimming lessons, and Drop-in fitness and public swims
- Place holds on popular titles and pick them up at any branch
