Wrenford, ON — June 20, 2025 — The City of Wrenford is pleased to announce that the Kingfisher Outdoor Pool will open for the 2025 swimming season on Friday, June 27. Located at 15 Kingfisher Court in the Kingfisher neighbourhood, the pool and splash pad are ready for residents to cool off as summer arrives.
The pool operates from late June through Labour Day, weather permitting. Hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and weekends 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The splash pad runs alongside, with daily hours from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Residents can enjoy drop-in swimming throughout the day, with designated lanes for lengths swimming in the morning and evening. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
"We are thrilled to have the water amenities back up and running for our community," says Caroline Dubé, Recreation Programs Coordinator. "It is a wonderful way for families, youth, and older adults to spend time outdoors together as the temperature rises."
