Advance voting opens October 14 for Wrenford municipal election

Advance voting begins October 14 for the 2026 municipal election, with polls open daily through October 18. On Election Day, Monday, October 26, the polls will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Wrenford residents can cast their ballots in advance at voting stations across the city. You do not need to vote at a station in your ward. You may vote at any location in the city.

To vote in Wrenford, you must be 18 years old, a Canadian citizen, and a resident of the city on Election Day. Bring a piece of identification that shows your name and current Wrenford address. A voter card is not required.

Advance voting is available at several convenient locations:

  • Downtown Transit Terminal, 1 Market Square
  • Tamsin Valley Leisure Centre, 400 Benchlands Drive
  • Larch Heights Golf Course, 2100 Wrenford Line
  • Ambrel Lake Recreation Centre, 1300 Ambrel Lake Road

Full voting place maps and hours are available on our Voting place map and hours page.

If you cannot vote in person, you can request a special ballot online. Special ballot requests must be submitted by the deadline, and completed ballots must be returned by the close of polls on Election Day. Details on how to apply and return your ballot are on the Elections office page.

"Wrenford runs on the participation of its residents," says Mayor Danielle Okafor-Price. "The decisions made this October will affect our transit routes, park maintenance, and local services for the next four years. Please check your registration, learn about the candidates, and vote."

Make sure you are registered to vote before October 10, 2026. You can confirm your details on the Check if you are registered to vote page. For candidate profiles, election rules, and ongoing updates, visit the Municipal elections section.
