The City of Wrenford is pleased to announce that Kingfisher Outdoor Pool will open for the summer season on Saturday, June 15, 2024, pending a final weather check. Located at 15 Kingfisher Court in the Kingfisher neighbourhood, the pool and its adjacent splash pad are ready to welcome residents for a fun-filled summer of swimming and cooling off.
Water quality testing and staff training have been completed over the past few weeks. If conditions remain dry and warm, the pool will open its gates at 10:00 a.m. on June 15. Keep in mind that outdoor aquatic facilities are weather-sensitive, and the City may adjust opening dates by a day or two if heavy rain or cool temperatures roll in. Kingfisher Outdoor Pool features a swimming area for all ages, a dedicated splash pad for younger children, and plenty of space for families to relax. The splash pad is part of the city's network of splash pads and operates daily from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. during the season.
