What you can do

Find a new home, apply for housing supports, or get help staying in your current house. The City of Wrenford provides tools, grants, and direct staff support to help older adults and their families navigate housing options. We work closely with health authorities and non-profit partners to make sure every senior has a safe place to live.

How to search for housing

Use the Wrenford Housing Portal to view available rentals, subsidized units, and age-friendly buildings. You can filter results by ward, price, and accessibility needs. The portal updates daily with new listings from private landlords and non-profit housing providers. If you need help using the portal or want a printed list mailed to you, call 519-555-0140 or visit us at Wrenford City Hall.

Supportive and assisted living

Supportive housing, assisted living, and long-term care facilities are run by independent non-profits and health authorities. The City does not manage these facilities or their rental processes. Staff cannot book a room or influence the waitlist.

To find a bed or an application form, visit Find supportive and assisted housing for seniors. The City also runs the Seniors Housing Strategy, approved in March 2026, to expand affordable and supportive options across all wards. Council reviews the strategy every year to track progress and fund new projects.
