The plan aims to increase density near transit stops while preserving neighbourhood character. You will see more mixed-use buildings approved in the coming months. Carried unanimously.

  • Kingfisher Outdoor Pool Preparation: Staff reported that the pool is ready for its June 11 opening. Upgrades include a new splash pad, extended family swim hours, and a junior lifeguard training program. Council directed staff to finalize the summer operating budget so you can enjoy the season. Carried unanimously.
  • Summer Street Sweeping: Roads Superintendent James Whitford presented the spring street sweeping schedule. Crews will sweep the Downtown and Benchlands neighbourhoods in June.
