Reports and Decisions
Secondary Suite Program
Council reviews the new support program designed to help homeowners add secondary suites to their properties. The program features simplified permits, fee rebates, and free consultations. Council approves the program to encourage gentle density and increase housing options for you and your neighbours. Carried.
Winter Maintenance Services
Council authorizes an agreement with the Director of Public Works for winter maintenance services. This ensures the City can continue clearing streets, trails, and park entrances efficiently throughout the cold season. Carried.
Traffic and Parking Update
Council discusses lifting the overnight parking ban at Ambrel Lake Park. The change allows crews to clear snow and ice from the streets and park entrance without restricting residents' parking. Carried.
Ice Days Festival Budget
Council approves the operating budget for the Wrenford Ice Days winter festival. This clears the way for the weekend celebration at Riverside Flats Park. Carried.
Zoning Amendments
Council reviews and passes amendments to the Zoning By-law regarding secondary suites on Mercer Street and site plan exemptions on Tamsin Street. Carried.

The following by-laws were passed:
- By-law 2024-012: A by-law to amend Zoning By-law 2016-040 (secondary suite allowance on Mercer Street)
- By-law 2024-013: A by-law to amend Zoning By-law 2016-040 (site plan control exemption on Tamsin Street)
- By-law 2024-017: A by-law to authorize an agreement with the Director of Public Works for winter maintenance services
- By-law 2024-021: A by-law appointing By-law Enforcement Officers under the Municipal Act, 2001
- By-law 2024-022: A by-law to amend Traffic and Parking By-law 2014-075 (lifting parking ban at Ambrel Lake Park)
- By-law 2024-024: a by-law to confirm the proceedings of this meeting
