Rules and processing times

Mayoral greeting requests require 10 business days to process. This allows staff enough time to prepare and sign each card or letter. Requests to speak at council or committee meetings must be received by 4:30 p.m. on the business day before the scheduled meeting. Meeting requests with the mayor or your councillor are subject to availability and will be confirmed by staff. Please note that the mayor does not handle individual by-law enforcement complaints or utility billing issues. Those matters are directed to the appropriate city departments.
