What your council does
Wrenford City Council makes the decisions that shape our community. You elect a mayor and six councillors to represent you. The mayor is elected city-wide, and each councillor represents one of our six wards. Together, they set the direction for the city, approve the budget, and pass local laws called by-laws.
City staff, led by the city manager, carry out the decisions that council makes. The city clerk records those decisions and keeps official records for the city.

How council works
Council meetings are open to the public. You can watch them live on our website through Meetings & Agendas. Regular meetings are held on the second and fourth Monday of every month at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall. The Planning and Environment Committee meets on the first Tuesday of the month.
Between meetings, councillors hold office hours and attend community events. You can reach them through the main city line or by email. City staff are also available to answer questions about city services and policies.
Get involved
Residents can share their views at council meetings. You can sign up to speak during the public comment period or the delegation section via Speak at a council meeting.
