Before you apply
Make sure you meet the basic requirements for the role you want. Most City positions require you to live within 100 kilometres of Wrenford to qualify for our Flexible Work Policy. You will also need legal permission to work in Canada.
How to apply
Visit the Wrenford Careers portal to create an account. You will need a resume, a cover letter, and any required certificates or transcripts. You can set up job alerts to receive notifications every three days when new positions open. This helps you apply early and stay ahead of the queue.
After you submit
Your application will show an Application Under Review status. Our hiring team screens all submissions and contacts the top candidates within four weeks. If you are invited to interview, practice using the STAR method interview guide to structure your answers clearly. The STAR method helps you explain your past work using Situation, Task, Action, and Result.
Next steps and checks
If you receive a job offer, you will need to complete a criminal record check. The City reviews these fairly and does not automatically disqualify candidates based on past records. You will also need to verify your identity with two pieces of government-issued identification.
