Give us your feedback on our procurement process
At the City of Wrenford, we run fair and open competitions for every contract. Whether you just submitted a tender or received an award notice, your feedback helps us improve how we buy goods, services and construction for the city. Please take a few minutes to share your thoughts below.
Requesting a bid debrief
If your bid was not selected, you can ask for a debrief to learn why. We do not accept debrief requests before a contract is awarded. Once the City posts the award notice on the Wrenford Supplier Portal, you will receive an email with a link to our bid debrief intake form. Fill out the form and a procurement coordinator will contact you to schedule a call or meeting as soon as possible.
Taking the procurement customer survey
We want to know how we are doing. After you interact with our procurement team, submit a tender or receive a purchase order, please take a moment to complete our procurement customer survey. You can rate your experience and leave comments on:
- Clarity of the competition documents
- Responsiveness of the procurement staff
- Timeliness of the evaluation and award process
- Overall satisfaction with the Wrenford Supplier Portal
Survey responses are reviewed every three months by the Purchasing Manager. We use this data to adjust our procedures, update training and fix any roadblocks in the system.
Raising a concern or formal protest
If you believe a procurement process did not follow the Procurement policy and guidelines or the Supplier code of conduct, you may file a formal complaint. The City follows the dispute resolution mechanisms set out in the New West Partnership Trade Agreement (NWPTA), the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) and the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA). All formal protests must be submitted in writing within ten business days of the award notice or the event in question. Contact the Purchasing Department to submit your complaint.
Privacy and confidentiality
Under the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (MFIPPA), all information you provide when competing is treated as confidential. We will not share your business information with other bidders, except where required by law or as stated in the competition documents. Your survey responses are anonymized and only used for service improvement.
