Who is it for

Our summer day camps welcome children aged 5 to 12 years old who live in or near Wrenford. Camps run from 7:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. each day, Monday to Friday. You can register your child for one week or the full season.

When to register

Online registration opens on March 1, 2027. The virtual waiting room will open 30 minutes before the official start time. You must have your Wrenford Recreation account ready and your payment method saved. For step-by-step instructions, visit our registration guide.

Cost and fee assistance

The standard fee is $225.00 per week. If this cost is a barrier for your family, you may qualify for the Recreation Fee Assistance programme. Eligible residents can receive up to $300.00 in subsidy per calendar year. You can apply for a fee waiver in person at the Service Wrenford counter or by mail.

Each week follows a different theme to keep activities fresh. Past themes include nature and trails, water and aquatics, arts and culture, sports and games, and community helpers. Your child will enjoy supervised play, field trips, and structured group activities. The City provides charter bus transit for all off-site field trips.

What to bring

  • A backpack with a packed lunch and two snacks
  • A refillable water bottle
  • Weather-appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes
  • A light jacket, even on warm days

Accessibility and inclusion

We want every child to feel welcome. Our camps provide visual schedules and quiet spaces for children who need sensory breaks. Inclusion support staff are available to help with daily routines.
