Report a park maintenance issue

Tell us about problems in Wrenford parks and trails so we can fix them quickly.

How to report an issue

You can report a problem in a park or on a trail using any of these methods:

  • Call 311 or 519-555-0100 during business hours.
  • Email us at [email protected].
  • Use the Service Wrenford online form.

What we can fix

Our parks and trails crew handles most routine maintenance. We can help with:

  • Grass that is too long or overgrown trails
  • Garbage, debris, or illegally dumped items
  • Broken benches, picnic tables, or playground equipment
  • Graffiti on park structures
  • Standing water or drainage problems
  • Trail hazards like exposed roots, large potholes, or fallen branches
  • Issues with irrigation or water features in formal gardens

What to include in your report

To help us send the right crew quickly, please provide:

  1. The exact location of the park or trail section (use the nearest street or landmark)
  2. A clear description of the problem
  3. A photo, if you can safely take one
  4. Your name and phone number so we can follow up if needed

How long will it take?

We triage reports based on how quickly they affect public safety:

  • Urgent safety issues (broken glass, downed trees, exposed wiring, or broken play equipment): Our team will visit within 24 hours.
  • Routine maintenance (grass cutting, litter pickup, minor graffiti): We aim to complete these tasks within 3 to 5 business days, depending on weather and crew availability.

Report an urgent safety issue now

If you see an immediate danger, call 311 or 519-555-0100 right away. Do not attempt to clear hazardous debris yourself.

Seasonal maintenance and volunteer days

Some park services change with the seasons. In the winter, the Winter Trail Clearing Programme keeps selected paths safe for snow and ice from November to March. You can view current trail conditions on Find hiking and cycling trails.

If you would like to help keep our parks clean, join the Spring Park Sweep Volunteer Days. These monthly community cleanup events run from May to September on the first Saturday of each month. You can learn more about how to get involved by visiting Learn about park maintenance services.
