Late registration opens for August summer day camps

Late registration is now open for August summer day camps in Wrenford. If you missed the spring sign-up window, your child can still join a week-long camp between August 3 and August 28. Programs run Monday through Friday from 7:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m.

Camps are designed for children ages 5 to 12 and focus on hands-on fun and new skills. This year's themes include nature and trails, water and aquatics, arts and culture, sports and games, and community helpers. Every camp includes supervised outdoor play, indoor activities, and snacks. Some locations also offer full-day options with extended hours.

You can register through Wrenford Recreation Online, by calling 519-555-0100, or in person at any nearby recreation centre. Popular spots like the Tamsin Valley Leisure Centre and Ambrel Lake Recreation Centre host several options. Spaces fill quickly, so we encourage you to log in early.

"August is a busy time for families, and we want to make sure every child has a safe and engaging place to go while school is out," says Caroline Dubé, Recreation Programs Coordinator. "We have added extra staff this year to keep group sizes manageable and keep the experience fun."

Before you register, please make sure your online account is up to date. Add your payment method and any medical notes in advance. If you need help with the website, check our registration guide or visit City Hall's Service Wrenford counter.
