The City of Wrenford is pleased to announce that the Kingfisher Outdoor Pool and splash pad will open for the season on May 25, 2026. Located at 15 Kingfisher Court, the facility is fully prepared to welcome swimmers and families for the summer months.
The pool offers a safe, family-friendly environment with a shallow play area and a full-size swimming section. The adjacent splash pad will also open on May 25. Visitors can bring deck chairs to lounge around the pool and enjoy the designated outdoor eating area.
Along with regular open swim times, the pool will host swimming lessons for all ages and abilities. Families can register online to secure a spot in the Swim for Life series or the Swim abilities programme. Both programmes are designed to build water confidence and teach essential safety skills.
“Outdoor pools have something for everyone,” said Caroline Dubé, Recreation Programs Coordinator. “Whether you are looking for a quiet morning lap swim, a fun family splash, or a structured lesson, our aquatic staff are ready to help you make the most of the season.”
The pool and splash pad will be open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., weather permitting. We encourage you to check the facility hours online before your visit, as opening times may shift slightly due to weather or routine maintenance.
