The City of Wrenford has released the 2026 swim lesson schedule for Kingfisher Outdoor Pool. Sessions run from late June through Labour Day at 15 Kingfisher Court, offering age-appropriate classes for toddlers, children, teens, and adults.
Lessons are grouped by age and ability, starting with parent-and-tot sessions for the youngest swimmers and progressing through preschool, child, youth, and adult levels. Each class focuses on water safety, stroke development, and building confidence. The pool also features a splash pad that operates alongside the lessons.
Registration for spring and summer programs opened on March 3, 2026, and is still open for most sessions. Residents can register online through Wrenford Recreation Online or by calling the Downtown Transit Terminal. Please review the swimming lessons page for a full list of levels and prerequisites before you book.
“We want families to have a safe, fun, and predictable summer in the water,” says Fiona Gallagher, General Manager of Community Services. “The schedule is designed so every age group gets the right amount of attention and instruction time.”
When you arrive, check in at the pool desk and store your belongings in a locker. All participants must shower before entering the water. If your child is new to the program, you can view a step-by-step guide to help them know what to expect on the first day.
