The City of Wrenford is pleased to announce that the Wildrye Splash Pad is now open for the 2025 summer season at Wildrye Park. Residents of all ages can enjoy the water features starting today, July 1.
The splash pad is open seven days a week from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Families are welcome to visit Wildrye Park, located at 90 Wildrye Drive. We encourage you to bring sunscreen, stay hydrated, and keep a close eye on children while they play. The water features are designed for young children, and parents or caregivers must supervise kids at all times.
"Splash pads are a wonderful way for our community to connect and stay cool during the warmer months," says Maya Chen-Watson, Parks Planner. "We are glad to have this feature available in Wildrye as the neighbourhood continues to grow."
While you are in the park, take a moment to explore the surrounding trails and playground. If you are looking for more ways to stay active this summer, check out our youth recreation programs or browse the senior recreation calendar. Older adults can also take advantage of free home services for yard work and snow clearing.
