Recreation programs for older adults

Wrenford offers many accessible recreation programs and activities to help older adults stay active, connected, and healthy. You can join guided walking groups, gentle fitness classes, swimming lessons, and monthly social and cultural events. Community centre staff and volunteers throughout the city work with seniors to provide opportunities for participation in programs, health and wellness activities, and cultural outings.

Visit Programs for older adults to browse the full schedule of activities available at community centres across the city.

How to register

You can register for most recreation programs online through the Wrenford Recreation Portal. You can also register in person at any community centre or by calling 311. Registration for seasonal programs opens on the first Monday of December for winter programs and the first Monday of March for spring and summer programs. Registration closes ten business days before the session start date.

The Senior Swim & Flow 10-class pass costs $120.00, with a reduced rate for seniors aged 65 and over, valid for six months. The Centennial Adult Day Program charges $25.00 per day, covering meals and activities. Fee assistance is available for eligible residents.
