Wrenford election office opens for candidate information sessions

The City of Wrenford Elections Office is now open for drop-in sessions to help prospective candidates prepare for the October 26, 2026 municipal election. The office is located at Wrenford City Hall, 100 Mercer Street, and is open Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. during regular business hours.

Staff are available to walk you through nomination packet completion, campaign sign rules, campaign expense reporting, and voter list requirements. You can also ask about the online candidate portal and get printed guides on the Election rules. All sessions are free and open to anyone considering a run for mayor or council.

City Clerk Nadia Kowalczyk says, "We want to make sure every person who runs for office has the information they need to run a smooth, compliant campaign. Drop in anytime during business hours, or book a private appointment through the Elections Office." Prospective candidates can pick up a nomination packet at City Hall or download one from the Information for candidates page. You must submit your completed nomination papers by noon on the Monday of nomination week.
