Rules and fees

There are no fees to apply for or receive Ontario Works benefits. However, you must report any changes in your income, address, or family situation within 30 days. If you need a document in a different format or a communication support person, we will arrange it at no extra cost.

Who to contact

Our office is managed by Olivia Mbeki, the Ontario Works Manager. Case workers handle daily intake, benefit payments, and employment plans. You can ask for a specific case worker by name when you call or visit. For more details on eligibility and how to apply, visit Apply for Ontario Works.
