Grants and financial support for licensed childcare, preschool, and school-aged care programmes in Wrenford.

Who can apply

If you run a licensed childcare programme in Wrenford, you may be eligible for funding. This includes non-profit preschools, school-aged care programmes, and occasional care providers. For-profit family childcare homes are not eligible for these specific grants.

Grant streams

We offer three ways to receive funding, depending on your programme's needs:

  • Operating Support Stream — Covers day-to-day costs like staff wages and supplies. Grants range from $2,000 to $25,000 per year.
  • Capital Upgrade Stream — Funds equipment purchases, playground upgrades, and accessibility improvements. Grants range from $5,000 to $50,000 per project.
  • Program Development Stream — Supports new initiatives, such as early literacy programmes or inclusive play spaces. Grants range from $1,500 to $10,000.

How to apply

  1. Check the eligibility checklist to make sure your programme qualifies.
  2. Create an account on the Wrenford eGrants portal or log in if you already have one.
  3. Submit your application form and supporting documents (like your business licence and proof of non-profit status).
  4. Wait for a decision. We review applications within four to six weeks after the deadline.

The application window for the 2026 funding cycle opens on Monday, March 2, 2026, and closes on Friday, May 9, 2026. If you are an existing grant recipient, you will receive an invitation to apply by email in late January.

Reporting requirements

Grant recipients must submit a short progress report within 30 days of finishing their funded work. You will also need to provide a final budget and a brief summary of how the funds helped your programme. These reports are due by January 31 each year.
