Report an accessibility barrier

If you notice a barrier in a City building, park, trail, or program, please let us know. We log every report and share them with the relevant department to fix or improve. You can submit a report through Wrenford 311 or email our Accessibility Coordinator, Katrina Doucet, directly. We aim to acknowledge every report within two business days and provide a timeline for action.

Request an interpreter or accommodation

We provide free interpretation services in sign language, audio description, and large print upon request. Please give us at least five business days' notice so we can arrange support for your meeting or event. We also offer accessible formats for public notices, meeting agendas, and by-laws. If you need a different format, please contact us when you request the document.

Accessibility Advisory Committee

The Accessibility Advisory Committee advises City Council on strategies to remove barriers and improve inclusion across all City services. The committee meets quarterly at City Hall and is open to the public. If you would like to share your experiences or suggestions with the committee, please email [email protected] or contact the Committee Secretary. Committee members are paid a $250.00 honorarium per meeting, and transit stipends are available for those who need them.

Our policies and commitments

Our Wrenford Accessibility Plan guides how we identify, remove, and prevent barriers. Key commitments include:

  • Inclusive Washroom and Change Room Policy: We support the rights of all visitors to use facilities that make them feel safest.
  • Attendant Admission Program: Allows an attendant to accompany a resident at no extra cost during City programs or activities.
  • Accessible Transit Services: Wrenford Access provides specialized transit for residents who cannot use fixed-route buses.

We are committed to making our website accessible to all visitors. We use cookies to improve your experience and track site usage.
