Why it matters

A broken water meter can mean inaccurate bills or wasted water. If your meter stops spinning, shows an error, or leaks, tell us so we can fix it quickly and keep your account accurate.

How to report it

Use any of these methods to report a broken water meter:

  • Online: Submit the Water Meter Inspection Request Form through the Service Wrenford Online portal. You can upload photos of the meter and your account details to speed things up.
  • Phone: Call 311 from inside the city, or 519-555-0100 from outside. Tell the operator your address and that the meter is damaged.
  • Email: Send a note to [email protected] with your account number and a description of the problem.

What happens next

Our Water Billing team reviews every report within two business days. If the meter needs a physical check, a crew will visit your property to inspect or replace it. Residential water meter installation and replacement is free of charge.

While you wait
