When you will receive your notice
The City mails your property assessment notice in January each year. The 2026 notices will be mailed on January 15, 2026. If you have moved, make sure we have your new address so you do not miss important information.
What is on the notice
Your assessment notice is an official document from the City. It shows:
- Your roll number, which is the unique identifier for your property
- The assessed value of your property as of July 1, 2025
- A summary of the property characteristics used to calculate the value
- Your current tax status
The notice does not show your final tax bill amount. Your tax bill will arrive later in the year based on the rates set by Council.
