Visual and performing arts classes

Find visual and performing arts programs for all ages, including painting, theatre, dance and summer camps.

Discover your creative potential

Everyone has a creative side waiting to come out. Taking an arts class helps you express yourself, solve problems, and learn something new. Join a friendly group of makers and performers, and build your skills in our dedicated studios and program rooms.

Arts classes give you a space to tell your story and try new things. You will work in a safe, welcoming environment that focuses on fun and learning. Our instructors are experienced artists who guide you step by step. You can work at your own pace, meet neighbours, and build confidence.

Visual arts classes

Throughout the year, Culture Services offers a variety of quality visual arts classes developed for children, teens, adults and families. Choose from:

  • Drawing: Practice sketching and shading while exploring new ways to show your ideas on paper.
  • Painting: Work with acrylics, oils, or watercolours to create your own masterpieces.
  • Pottery and clay: Shape clay by hand or use a wheel. Learn how to finish and glaze your pieces.
  • Fibre arts: Experiment with dyeing fabric, felting wool, weaving, and printing designs.
  • Printmaking: Use carving and etching tools to make repeated prints.
  • Mixed media: Combine different materials and techniques to make unique art pieces.

Performing arts classes

Our performing arts programs cover theatre, dance, and music for every age group. Whether you want to step onto a stage, learn a new instrument, or move to music, there is a class for you.

Arts camps

During school breaks and summer, we run arts camps for children aged 4 to 17. Camps focus on visual art, performance, and storytelling. Kids will work on group projects, go on field trips, and meet expert instructors.
