Skate rentals and sharpening
Need a quick pair of blades or a tune-up before your session? We keep rentals and sharpening available at our main indoor rinks during all public skating times. Walk up to the front desk, pay at the counter, and get back on the ice in minutes.

Rental and sharpening counters are located at:
- Westbrook Community Arena, 40 Westbrook Drive
- Eastfield Twin Arenas, 620 Eastfield Road

Rental and sharpening fees
All prices are before tax. We accept cash, debit, and credit cards at the counter.

Sharpening usually takes about twenty minutes. You can wait at the seating area or return later in the day. Your skates will be ready when you see your number on the board.
Helmets and safety
For your safety, we provide free helmets with every rental. We also encourage you to bring your own. Any helmet used for skating lessons, programs, or public skate must be a CSA-approved hockey or snowboard helmet. Standard bicycle or motorcycle helmets are not allowed on the ice. Helmets must fit snugly and sit level on your head. If you are under eighteen, an adult must be present to sign the rental waiver.
