Withdrawals and cancellations
You can withdraw from a registered programme online through Wrenford Recreation Online up until the day the programme starts. Withdrawals made online are credited back to your account automatically.
If you need a refund instead of an account credit, or if you withdraw after the programme has started, please follow the timelines below:
- More than one week before the start date: You will receive a refund minus a $10.00 administration fee.
- Less than one week before the start date: No refund will be issued, except for documented medical reasons or if the City cancels the programme.
- After the first day of the programme: You may withdraw up to 12:00 p.m. on the day following the first class. You will receive a pro-rated credit or a refund minus the $10.00 administration fee. After this date, only medical reasons or a permanent move from Wrenford qualify for a refund.
Medical and compassionate reasons
If you need to withdraw due to a medical condition or compassionate reason, please contact us at [email protected]. You will need to provide a medical note or supporting documentation. We will process a pro-rated refund without the administration fee once the documentation is approved.
Transfers between programmes
You may transfer into another programme at any time, subject to space availability. If the new programme costs more, you will pay the difference. If it costs less, you will receive a credit or refund minus the $10.00 administration fee. Transfers do not incur an additional withdrawal fee.
City-cancelled programmes
If the City cancels a programme due to low registration or other unforeseen circumstances, you will be notified by email. You can choose to receive a full refund or a credit on your recreation account. No administration fee will be charged for City-initiated cancellations.
How to request a refund
For most refunds, you can submit a request through the online portal. If you cannot access the portal or need help with a medical withdrawal, please call the Recreation Office at 519-555-0100 or visit the Service Wrenford counter at Wrenford City Hall.
