Read on your commute

Turn your bus ride into reading time with Books on the Bus. The Wrenford Public Library and Wrenford Transit work together to keep bookshelves full on our buses. You can grab a book at the Downtown Transit Terminal or find one waiting for you on any fixed route.

How to borrow a book

You do not need a library card to take a book. Just pick one up from the shelf, read it at your own pace, and pass it along when you are done.

  • Start your trip: Look for the bookshelf near the driver at the Downtown Transit Terminal or on the 1, 3, 5, and 7 bus routes.
  • Keep it clean: Please do not write in the books or bend the pages. If a book is torn or dirty, hand it back to the driver or drop it in the red return box at the terminal.
  • Return it: You can leave the book on the bus for the next person, or bring it back to the Main Library or Wrenford City Hall.

Special requests and accessibility

The library adds fifty new titles every month. We keep a mix of fiction, local history, and how-to guides. If you want a specific book to join the collection, email [email protected] with your suggestion.

Need large print or an audio version? Ask at the library desk. We can set up a special copy for your commute.
