Reserve a quiet meeting space at any Wrenford Public Library branch for study, club meetings, or community gatherings.

Book a library meeting room

You can reserve a meeting room at any of the three Wrenford Public Library branches for study groups, club meetings, or community gatherings. Rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis for short visits, or by advance booking for longer sessions.

Available rooms and capacities

Each branch offers quiet, accessible spaces equipped with standard furniture and power outlets. Wi-Fi is available throughout all locations.

  • Main Branch (150 Mercer Street) — Tamsin Room (up to 30 people) and Mill Street Room (up to 15 people)
  • Northgate Branch (900 Northgate Boulevard) — Northgate Room (up to 20 people)
  • Ambrel Lake Branch (1300 Ambrel Lake Road) — Ambrel Room (up to 15 people)

How to book

Reserve a room online through the library's public portal, call the branch directly, or visit the Service Wrenford counter at the Main Branch. Walk-in reservations are accepted for any available slot, but advance booking is recommended for weekends and holidays.

Reservations are held in 30-minute blocks. You may book up to two hours per day per group. Groups needing longer or recurring time slots should contact the library at least ten business days ahead.

Fees and deposits

Resident groups and registered non-profits pay no hourly fee. Commercial bookings, fundraising events, or groups selling goods or services are charged $25.00 per hour. A refundable $50.00 security deposit is required for all commercial and after-hours bookings. The deposit is returned within five business days if the room is left in good condition.

Rules and guidelines

  • Keep noise at a level that does not disturb library patrons.
  • Food and drinks are allowed in sealed containers. No glass, alcohol, or open flames.
  • You are responsible for setting up and cleaning the room. Please return chairs to the original layout and take all personal items when you leave.
  • Projectors and whiteboards are available upon request. Bring your own adapters for laptops.
  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a fee. Late cancellations or no-shows will incur a $25.00 charge.
