What you can book
You can reserve a covered shelter or a designated picnic table in Wrenford parks. Available sites include shelters at Benchlands Lookout Park, Centennial Gardens, and Riverside Flats Park. You get exclusive use of the tables and fire pits at your chosen spot. Adjacent grass areas remain open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis.
How to book
Bookings open on the first Monday of May and run through the weekend of Thanksgiving in October. You can reserve a site online through the City's booking portal or call the Recreation Booking Office. Walk-in requests are not accepted. All sites are booked in four-hour blocks. You must choose either a morning block (9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.) or an afternoon block (2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.). Full payment is required when you book.
Fees
Fees depend on the size of the site and how many people you expect. A $15.00 administration fee applies to every booking. Prices include all applicable taxes.

Rules and by-laws
Keep your event safe and respectful of other park users.
- Noise must stay within the limits set in the Noise by-law.
- Alcohol is only allowed at sites marked with a sign. You must follow Ontario liquor laws.
- Pets must be on a leash unless you are in an off-leash dog area.
- You may bring your own propane grill or charcoal barbecue. Solid fuel barbecues and commercial catering equipment require a special event permit.
- Do not stake tents or canopies into the ground. Canopies must be smaller than 3.0 m by 3.0 m.
- Playgrounds and washrooms are shared spaces. Please keep them accessible for everyone.
Cancellations and changes
You can cancel or change your booking at least seven days before your event. A $10.00 administration fee will be charged for any changes that free up a slot. Cancellations made within seven days are non-refundable. We do not issue weather-related refunds, so please check the forecast before your event.
