What you can book
Wrenford offers a range of cultural spaces for performances, gallery shows, community gatherings, and educational events. You can reserve spaces at the Fallsview Arts Centre, Railside Gallery, Old Mill Museum & Archives, and Wrenford Public Library branches. These venues are managed by the Arts & Heritage team or their independent boards.
How to make a booking
You can book a cultural space in three ways:
- Online through the online booking application portal.
- In person at the Service Wrenford counter at City Hall or directly at the venue's front desk.
- By phone or email through the Arts & Heritage office.
Most venues require you to submit a booking application at least fourteen days before your event. Walk-in bookings are accepted for library meeting rooms on a first-come, first-served basis.
Booking rules and requirements
Before your booking is confirmed, you must provide the following:
- Proof of liability insurance: You need a certificate of insurance naming the City of Wrenford as an additional insured. This is required for all commercial and after-hours bookings.
- Refundable security deposit: A deposit covers potential damages or cleaning. It is returned within fourteen days if the space is left in good condition.
- Cancellation notice: You must give at least seventy-two hours notice to cancel without penalty. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a fee.
- Accessibility requests: Tell us about any accessibility needs when you book. We will work with you to arrange seating, ramps, or assistive listening devices. See accessibility accommodations for more details.
Note for heritage venues: The Old Mill Museum and Railside Gallery are heritage properties. All displays and equipment must follow the Mill Street Conservation Guidelines to protect the historic fabric of the buildings.
Fees and deposits
Rates vary depending on the venue, the time of day, and whether you are a resident or a non-profit organization. Below are standard hourly rates for residents:

A refundable deposit of $100.00 applies to all cultural venue bookings. Non-profit organizations with a valid charity number may apply for a fee waiver or reduction through the Community Grants programme.
