Who can apply
You can apply for Wrenford’s arts and culture funding if you are a registered non-profit organization, a professional artist, or a cultural venue based in the City of Wrenford. Projects must take place in Wrenford and benefit local residents.
Grant categories
Project grants
We offer project grants of up to $7,500 to help cover costs for one-time cultural activities, exhibitions, performances, and community workshops. You can use the funds for artist fees, venue rental, materials, and marketing.
Operating grants
Established cultural organizations can apply for operating grants of up to $25,000. These grants help cover ongoing costs like salaries, insurance, and utilities so you can keep your programs running throughout the year.
Space and venue support
If you run a cultural space, you can apply for up to $15,000 for minor renovations, accessibility upgrades, or equipment purchases. We want to make sure your venue is safe and open to everyone.
Event and advertising support
Non-profit arts and culture groups can apply for free advertising space in transit shelters and on digital display boards across the city. This helps you reach more audiences without spending your own money.
How to apply
Fill out the application through the Arts & Culture Grant Portal. You will need to provide a project description, a budget, and a timeline. If you prefer paper, you can pick up a form at the Service Wrenford counter at City Hall or download it from the Arts & Heritage page.
All applications are reviewed by a panel of local artists and community members. We look for projects that are creative, well-planned, and truly serve Wrenford’s diverse communities. You must submit a final report within 60 days after your project ends, showing how you used the money.
Application deadlines
We accept applications twice a year. Make sure you submit your materials by the deadline.
- Spring/Summer round: March 31
- Fall/Winter round: September 30
Late applications are not accepted. If you need help meeting the deadline, contact the Arts & Culture Liaison for an extension request.
