Search for a planning application
You can look up any active planning application in Wrenford by address, application number, or applicant name. The online registry shows the current status, key dates, and links to all public documents.
How to use the search tool
- Go to the Planning Application Search Tool.
- Enter a property address in Wrenford (for example, 25 Water Street or 400 Benchlands Drive).
- Or enter an application number (starts with PL-).
- Or type an applicant or agent name.
- Click Search.
The results list every application linked to that property. Click an application to see its full file.
What you can see in an application file
- Status: Received, Under Review, Public Notice, Hearing Scheduled, Decided, or Approved.
- Application type: Zoning amendment, minor variance, site plan control, subdivision, or official plan amendment.
- Meeting dates: When the Planning and Environment Committee or the Committee of Adjustment will review the file.
- Documents: Site plans, environmental assessments, traffic studies, and staff reports.
- Public notice: Dates when neighbours were notified and how to submit comments.
Once you open a file, you can download PDF versions of the site plan, the environmental assessment, and the staff report. You can also view the public notice letter, which explains how neighbours were contacted. If an application is still under review, the file will show the next step in the process and the officer responsible for the review.
How to leave a comment or attend a meeting
Most planning applications require a public notice period. Neighbours and anyone interested in a project can submit written comments or attend the committee meeting to speak. Check the application file for the exact meeting date and time. Meetings are held at City Hall or livestreamed online.
