Starting May 1, 2026, the City of Wrenford opens annual residential parking permit applications for the 2026–2027 term. Residents can secure their permits online, by phone, or in person at City Hall before the May deadline. The permit covers the period from May 1, 2026, to April 30, 2027.
Good to know
Office hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., except holidays.
You can apply and pay directly through the Wrenford Park mobile app or on the city website. If you prefer to apply in person, visit the Service Wrenford counter at City Hall, 100 Mercer Street. Please bring proof of residency, such as a driver's licence or a utility bill in your name.
The annual fee for a residential permit is $75.00. If you need parking for guests, visitor permits cost $25.00 each, with a limit of two per home. Accessible parking permits are $25.00, and student permits are $50.00.
Wrenford has moved away from physical decals. Your permit will be issued as a digital pass that you can load directly to your mobile app or print as a PDF to keep in your vehicle. Enforcement officers will use licence plate recognition technology to check your permit status, so you do not need to hang a tag in your window.
Please note that your permit will not be renewed if you have outstanding parking tickets. Make sure your mailing address is up to date with the city so you can receive any notices.
"We have streamlined the entire application process to make it as quick and simple as possible for residents," says City Manager Robert Eng.
