As of July 10, 2026, the Kingfisher Outdoor Pool at 15 Kingfisher Court and the Wildrye Splash Pad at Wildrye Park (90 Wildrye Drive) are officially open for the summer season. Both facilities are now welcoming residents for daily swims and splash pad fun.
The Kingfisher Outdoor Pool features a full-size lap and leisure pool, while the Wildrye Splash Pad offers a cool, interactive play area for younger children. Both sites operate daily from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. from late June to Labour Day, weather permitting. We have upgraded the water recycling systems this spring to reduce consumption, so you can enjoy a full summer of swimming while we protect our local water supply. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own towels and water bottles, and to follow posted safety rules at all times.
“We are excited to have our outdoor water amenities open and ready for families,” said Fiona Gallagher, General Manager of Community Services. “These facilities are part of our commitment to keeping Wrenford cool and green. Our new recirculation pumps keep the water clean and efficient, and we appreciate everyone’s help in conserving water during the warmer months.”
To plan your visit, check the current operating schedules for all recreation sites. If you are looking for more water play options, review our splash pad locations and guidelines. You can also report any maintenance concerns through our park maintenance reporting form.
