The Kingfisher Outdoor Pool is open for the 2026 summer season. Located at 15 Kingfisher Court in the Kingfisher neighbourhood, the pool and splash pad welcome residents for daily swims, lessons, and water play from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. daily, weather permitting.
The 25-metre outdoor pool features a shallow play area with water features and a dedicated splash pad for younger children. Lifeguards are on duty throughout the day. The City will adjust hours if weather conditions require it, so please check the Access community recreation programs page before your visit.
Swim lessons run throughout the week for all ages and skill levels. Drop-in leisure swims are available during the afternoon and evening. The pool also hosts youth-focused nights and family swim events. For a full schedule of aquatic programs and registration dates, visit the Access community recreation programs page.
For older adults, the City offers quiet morning swim sessions on weekdays before 10:00 a.m. These times are designed for comfortable movement and social connection. The facility includes a ramped entry and accessible change rooms. You can find more information about age-friendly activities and programs at Seniors recreation opportunities.
To keep the pool and splash pad safe and clean, please follow these guidelines:
- Bring a towel and change of clothes.
- Wear a swimming cap and secure hair.
- Use the shaded seating areas and bring your own water bottle.
- Report any maintenance issues to the front desk or call 519-555-0125.
